Privacy Policy

Applies to: ChinaMystic for Android (package net.openwit.chinamystic), developed by Openwit.

ChinaMystic is a local-first Plum Blossom Numerology (梅花易数) app. Casting a hexagram and the built-in reading both happen entirely on your device. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and how you stay in control.

1. What we do not collect

  • There is no account, sign-up or login.
  • We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, precise or coarse location, advertising ID, device identifiers or usage analytics.
  • The app contains no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDK.
  • We do not run a backend for casting or readings. The only information sent to a server we operate is an AI content report that you explicitly submit (section 6).

2. Data kept on your device

The following stays in the app’s private storage on your phone:

  • the question you type, the casting time, the resulting hexagrams and the reading text;
  • your settings, including the optional AI endpoint, model name and API key;
  • up to 200 reading records, oldest ones being dropped automatically.

Except for the AI reading text you choose to include in a report (section 6), this data is never uploaded to our servers. Android backup is disabled for the app (allowBackup="false") and all cloud-backup and device-transfer rules are set to exclude every storage domain, so your readings are not copied to Google’s cloud backup or moved to a new phone.

Delete it: open Settings → Clear all readings, delete an individual record in Records, or simply uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes all local data.

3. AI reading (optional, off by default)

The Enable AI interpretation switch is off by default. Turn it on and enter an endpoint, a model name and an API key in Settings if you want an AI-generated reading.

When the switch is on and the configuration is complete, each cast sends only the following to the address you entered:

  • the question text;
  • the hexagram data (upper/lower trigram ids and the moving line) and the casting method;
  • the interface language, so the reply is written in the right language.

It does not send device identifiers, location, your reading history, your contacts or any other personal data. The request goes directly from your phone to the language-model service you configured (for example OpenAI, DeepSeek, Qwen, Groq, OpenRouter, Google Gemini or any compatible API). It never passes through a server operated by us, and the content is handled under that provider’s privacy policy. Your API key is stored only in this app’s private storage and is never transmitted anywhere except to your chosen endpoint as a standard authorization header.

With the switch off, or with any of the three fields empty, no network request is made for readings and the reading is produced by the built-in on-device engine. If an AI request fails, the app falls back to the same on-device reading. The AI result, when one is returned, is saved locally together with that reading record and can be deleted like any other record.

You are responsible for choosing a provider you trust and for any charges or terms associated with your own API account.

4. Permissions and network traffic

The app declares exactly one permission: INTERNET. It is used for the model request described in section 3 (only after you explicitly enable and configure AI reading) and for submitting the report described in section 6 (only after you explicitly tap Submit report). Release builds require HTTPS and reject cleartext traffic. There is no telemetry or push messaging; the only automatic network activity is retrying a report that previously failed to send, on the next app launch.

5. Third-party services

The app ships no third-party SDKs. Two parties may receive data: the AI service you configure yourself (section 3), and our own report endpoint when you submit a report (section 6). We do not select, endorse or receive data from your chosen AI provider, and have no relationship with it beyond the request your device makes.

6. AI-generated content and reporting

AI readings are generated content and may be inaccurate, incomplete or biased; they are provided for traditional-cultural reference and entertainment only. Every AI reading has an in-app Report this content action, so you can flag offensive or inappropriate output without leaving the app.

When you submit a report, the app sends a single HTTPS POST to https://china-mystic-tma-api.ilei.workers.dev/api/report containing:

  • content — the text of that AI reading together with the hexagram names (up to 5,000 characters);
  • reason — the reason you selected (up to 1,000 characters);
  • appId — the app package name, and appVersion — the app version.

Your question, API key, device identifiers, location and other reading records are not included. The server stores the report with a generated id and a UTC timestamp so we can review it and improve our content safeguards. A short local audit line without the reading text stays on your device. If submission fails (for example while offline), the report is queued locally and retried on the next launch; the app tells you whether it was sent or queued. Reports are used only for content review and moderation; contact us if you want a submitted report deleted.

7. Children

ChinaMystic is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has entered data into the app, please contact us; because everything is stored locally, clearing the records or uninstalling removes it.

8. Your choices and rights

Apart from reports you explicitly submit, no data of yours is stored on our servers, so there is no server-side copy of your questions or readings to access, correct or export. You can view, delete or erase everything from within the app at any time, without contacting us. Disabling the AI switch immediately stops model requests while keeping your saved configuration on the device until you clear it. For a submitted report, contact us to request access or deletion.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page, the privacy-policy link on the Google Play listing and the “last updated” date above, and — where practical — the in-app text. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.

ChinaMystic 是一款「本地优先」的梅花易数应用。起卦与内置解读全部在你的手机上完成。本政策说明应用会处理哪些数据、为什么处理，以及你可以如何控制。

1. 我们不收集什么

  • 无需注册、登录，也没有账号体系。
  • 不收集姓名、邮箱、通讯录、相册、精确或粗略位置、广告 ID、设备标识符、使用统计等信息。
  • 应用内没有广告 SDK，也没有任何第三方统计、崩溃上报或追踪 SDK。
  • 我们没有为起卦或解读搭建后端；唯一会发送到我们运营的服务器的数据，是你主动提交的 AI 内容举报（见第 6 条）。

2. 保存在你设备上的数据

以下内容仅保存在本应用的私有目录中：

  • 你输入的问题、起卦时间、得到的卦象与解读文本；
  • 你的设置项，包括可选的 AI 接口地址、模型名称与 API Key；
  • 最多 200 条卦记录，超出后自动丢弃最旧的记录。

除你主动提交举报时附带的 AI 解读正文外，这些数据不会上传到我们的服务器。应用已关闭 Android 备份（allowBackup="false"），并且云备份与换机迁移规则排除了所有存储域，因此你的记录不会被复制到 Google 云备份，也不会被迁移到新手机。

删除方式： 在「设置 → 清空所有记录」中清空，或在「记录」中逐条删除，也可以直接卸载应用。卸载会清除全部本地数据。

3. AI 解卦（可选，默认关闭）

「启用 AI 解读」开关默认关闭。如果你希望获得 AI 生成的解读，需要主动打开开关，并在设置中填写接口地址、模型名称与 API Key。

开关打开且配置完整时，每次起卦仅向你所填地址发送以下内容：

  • 问题文本；
  • 卦象数据（上卦 / 下卦编号、动爻）与起卦方式；
  • 界面语言，以便回复使用正确语言。

不会发送设备标识符、位置、历史记录、通讯录或任何其他个人数据。请求由手机直接发往你自己配置的大模型服务（例如 OpenAI、DeepSeek、通义千问、Groq、OpenRouter、Google Gemini 或任何兼容接口），不经过我们运营的任何服务器，内容按该服务提供方的隐私政策处理。API Key 只保存在本应用的私有目录中，除作为标准鉴权请求头发给你指定的接口外，不会发送到别处。

开关关闭，或三项中有任意一项留空时，应用不会为解读发起网络请求，解读由内置的本机引擎生成；AI 请求失败时也会自动回退到本机解读。成功返回的 AI 结果会随该条记录保存在本机，可像其他记录一样删除。

请自行选择你信任的服务商，并自行承担该账号产生的费用与其服务条款。

4. 权限与网络流量

应用只声明一个权限：INTERNET（网络访问），用于第 3 条所述的大模型请求（仅在你主动开启并配置 AI 解卦后）与第 6 条所述的举报提交（仅在你点击「提交举报」后）。正式发布版本强制使用 HTTPS，禁止明文传输。应用没有遥测上报或推送消息；唯一的自动联网行为，是在下次启动时重试此前未能发出的举报。

5. 第三方服务

应用不内置任何第三方 SDK。可能接收数据的主体有两个：你自己配置的大模型服务（第 3 条），以及你提交举报时我们自己的举报接口（第 6 条）。我们不代为选择、不为其背书、也不会收到你所选大模型服务的数据，与其之间除了你的设备发起的那次请求外没有其他关系。

6. AI 生成内容与举报

AI 解读属于生成式内容，可能不准确、不完整或存在偏差，仅供传统文化参考与娱乐。每条 AI 解读都提供应用内「举报不当内容」入口，你无需离开应用即可标记不妥内容。

提交举报时，应用会向 https://china-mystic-tma-api.ilei.workers.dev/api/report 发起一次 HTTPS POST，包含：

  • content —— 该条 AI 解读正文与卦名（最长 5000 字符）；
  • reason —— 你选择的举报原因（最长 1000 字符）；
  • appId —— 应用包名，以及 appVersion —— 应用版本号。

不会包含你输入的问题、API Key、设备标识符、位置或其他卦记录。服务端会生成 id 与 UTC 时间戳并保存该举报，用于审核与改进内容过滤。本机只留下一行不含解读正文的审计日志。若提交失败（例如离线），举报会暂存在本机，下次启动自动重试；无论发送成功还是暂存，应用都会明确提示。举报仅用于内容审核与管理，如需删除已提交的举报，请与我们联系。

7. 儿童

ChinaMystic 面向成年人，不面向 13 岁以下儿童，也不会刻意收集儿童信息。如果你认为儿童在应用内输入过内容，请与我们联系；由于所有数据都保存在本机，清空记录或卸载应用即可删除。

8. 你的选择与权利

除你主动提交的举报外，我们的服务器不保存你的任何数据，因此不存在需要访问、更正或导出的「问题 / 解读」服务端副本。你可以随时在应用内查看、删除或清空全部内容，无需联系我们。关闭 AI 开关会立即停止大模型请求，已保存的配置会留在本机，直到你自行清除。对于已提交的举报，可联系我们请求查询或删除。

9. 政策变更

本政策更新时，我们会同步更新本页、Google Play 商店列表中的隐私政策链接、上方的「更新日期」，并在可行时同步应用内文本。更新后继续使用即表示你接受修订后的政策。
